There is Notre peur de n’être, the latest creation by the young director Fabrice Murgia, which was very well received at the Festival d’Avignon last summer. And Les Marchands by the French director Joël Pommerat. Both Murgia and Pommerat are ‘artistes associés’ of the Théâtre National.
This year we are taking the cooperation with our French-speaking associates in Brussels a step further. Together with Théâtre National and Le Manège.Mons / Fondation Mons 2015 we are making Passions humaines, a docudrama about the artwork of the same name by sculptor Jef Lambeaux. Directed by Guy Cassiers, scripted by Erwin Mortier an d with a bilingual cast, this will be a thoroughly Belgian story. A production mounted in cooperation with Théâtre National, Fondation Mons 2015, Le Manège.Mons and the City of Antwerp. Première on April 21st 2015 as part of Mons Capital of Culture 2015.
But first two not-to-be-missed shows by Théâtre National at the Bourla.
